Reception had their concentration faces on as they worked together to make a delicious Chinese noodle salad from scratch.

The children learnt important food preparation skills, discovering that the fork is our friend when it comes to holding food steady and cutting safely. With great care and focus, they grated carrot, snipped fresh coriander and spring onions, and carefully chopped peppers and cucumber.

They proudly mixed together lemon, ginger and honey to make their very own dressing before mixing everything together to create their final creation.

A brilliant lesson in independence and teamwork!
