At the conclusion of our remembrance event, the Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy were able to lay a wreath from us at the Hampton War Memorial Cottages. I was very glad to be at the Pre-Prep on Thursday morning to take part in their remembrance assembly. Reception class teacher Miss Annandale-Johnston brought the experiences of others that these events commemorate to life by showing us some memorabilia and pictures from former and current service personnel close to her and her family; it was fascinating. We shall remember again those who were former Prep pupils who lost their lives on Sunday, as various other remembrance ceremonies across the country take place.
