Our Junior Travel Ambassadors took time out of their busy day to share an important lesson with our Reception pupils: how to stay safe on the roads while riding their scooters.
During the session, the older pupils confidently explained key road safety skills, including how to slow down, stop safely and stay aware of their surroundings. Reception pupils then put their learning into practice by taking part in a fun and challenging obstacle course.
Pupils also took part in an engaging road-crossing role play, with some children acting as pedestrians while others “drove” cars, helping them understand how to cross the road safely and recognise potential hazards.
Reception pupils thoroughly enjoyed the activities and showed great enthusiasm as they developed their road safety skills. Well done to our Junior Travel Ambassadors for leading such a valuable session, and to our Reception pupils for their fantastic participation.
