Kindergarten got everyone smiling with spirited renditions of I’m a Pirate and Slippery Fish, shaking tambourines and other percussion instruments as they sang. Reception then took to the stage with Down There Under the Sea and Heave Ho, looking every bit the part in their sailor-style bandanas.
Year 1 brought the sunshine with energetic performances of Whale Song and Walking on the Beach. Wearing star-shaped sunglasses and waving flowing blue ribbons, they perfectly captured the fun of a day by the seaside.
The Pre-Prep Choir performed the uplifting Sail Away, before Year 2 rounded off the class performances with Ere the Waters of the Deep and Life on the Sea. Accompanied by the gentle sound of handbells, their confident performance provided a wonderful finale.
The audience was also treated to a series of impressive piano performances from Taksh, Vrushank, Francis, Clara and Kabir, who all performed with confidence and musical flair.
To close the concert, every pupil came together for a moving performance of Dreams Across the Ocean, filling the hall with song and bringing a memorable morning of music to a heartwarming conclusion.
Following the concert, pupils were recognised for their hard work, kindness and achievements during the annual Prize Giving ceremony.
