The audience watched transfixed, as Mowgli was kidnapped by a band of mischievous monkeys and threatened by wolves that he had always considered family. If there was one moment that brought the house down, it was the King of the Jungle finale – a showstopping climax that had the entire audience buzzing long after the last, well-deserved boy had been taken.

Head of Music and Drama, Miss Bee, congratulated all pupils involved in bring the production to life:

Watching these children step onto the stage and truly own it was something special. The commitment and joy in every performance made this one of our most memorable productions yet. I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of our boys.

Colourful costumes helped each role leap off the stage, and the children performed with a confidence that sparkled far beyond their years. A joyful, polished evening of theatre – the jungle was very much alive at Hampton Prep.
