Ordinarily this fundraising physical endurance event takes place over the course of an entire evening and into the night. This year however it was a little different. Last Saturday morning Mrs Henderson and Miss Wakeling set off on a 27 mile walk in the not-so-glorious English weather, managing to complete this challenge in eight hours. So far, they have been fortunate enough to receive many donations from family and friends. I am hoping that by extending an invitation to our school community to donate, they can break through their target and raise more money to make a difference to those living with cancer, when they need us the most.
