We all arrived in plenty of time to appreciate the grandeur of the Apollo Victoria Theatre and we were also given the opportunity to take a closer view of the talented orchestra before the performance. With the curtain rising, the students were transported into the magical world of Wicked. The story touches upon ideas of friendship, courage, and standing up for what’s right, which are values that resonate deeply within our school community. The powerful emphasis on embracing differences was an important complement to our ongoing focus here at school and over the next few weeks boys in Year 5 will further discuss their ideas in class.

It was a terrific trip, which the boys loved, as did I!
