In maths, we have been learning all about repeating patterns, we have explored different ways to make these using a selection of apparatus and even made our own human repeating patterns! We have worked hard to ensure we use correct mathematical vocabulary to describe the patterns we can see and explain how each repeating pattern would continue. We wonder if the boys could spot any repeating patterns at home or when they are out and about?
This week in our topic lessons we learnt about what the seaside was like in Victorian times and compared it with the seaside today.
We really enjoyed our art workshops this week, using a variety of skills, from painting to cutting to crafting, in order to make a variety of rainforest animals. We all had great fun drawing around our feet to make our very own sloths!
