In maths, our focus this week has been ordering objects, numbers, using a number line and finally learning all about ordinal numbers. In topic, we have been honing our map reading skills! We learnt about compass directions and how to find where items are located on a map.
In science, the children were very exciting to set up and then monitor a weather station every day. We’ve been observing the temperature, rainfall and wind direction, and then back in the classroom we recorded our findings using weather symbols.
We have all loved learning about the children’s open homework creations and have been mightily impressed with their presenting skills. What a lot of wonderful ideas stemming from the number 3!
