We watched the story of ‘Mog’s Christmas Calamity’ this week, pausing the video at various points to look at Mog’s expressions. We discussed some captions that we could put into speech bubbles to describe those observed on his face. The children did a wonderful job of using their imagination to capture what Mog might have said at various moments in the story.
In maths this week we have been recapping our learning of shape and number by completing a daily activity based on the season of winter or a Christmas theme. Indeed, it has been a flurry of excitement in Year 1 and we are all set for the final countdown to the holiday season next week!
