In mathematics, the children have been learning all about time. They enjoyed exploring a calendar displaying days and months and were able to pick out dates, days and special events. They then moved on to telling the time to the hour and to the half hour. So, we hope that the Year 1 families will make the most of their newly qualified time-keepers over the summer break!
We concluded our learning all about “Changing Me” in our Life Skills lessons. We couldn’t believe how much we have changed since we were babies, and we celebrated our unique selves and all the wonderful things that we can now do. We also named body parts correctly, that is, using anatomically correct vocabulary.
We look forward to a fun-filled last week of term but in the meantime have a super weekend!
