In maths, we have been learning about money and we have enjoyed using pretend coins and notes to help us work out our answers. Throughout the week, we have completed various activities including comparing amounts of money and solving 2-step money problems. An example of this would be, “Abdul had £15 in his piggy bank and for his birthday he was gifted £10. He decided to buy a Lego set that cost £13. How much money does Abdul have left over?” Next week, we will be learning about position and direction.

This afternoon, we have revised what the seven continents are called and have discovered where rainforests are located in the world.
