The children have also loved preparing for Sports Day, impressing us with their collaborative spirit, sporting skills and competitive enthusiasm. Despite the disruption to the normal timetable and some dramatic weather, they worked incredibly well throughout and did not let anything dampen their spirits.
During maths, the children have continued learning to tell the time and have begun telling the time to the nearest five minutes. ‘To’ times are always more challenging, and we will continue to build confidence in this area. Please do encourage your child to practise telling the time at home using an analogue clock.
