During our English lessons, we have created circus posters that feature emotive language to persuade the reader to come to our circus. It is great to hear that so many of the class are going to see Circus Extreme this weekend in Richmond! We can’t wait to hear all about it on Monday. Our phonics sound for the week has been the long ‘o’ sound spelt ‘ow’, ‘oa’ and ‘o-e’. Next week, we will be learning the different spellings for the long ‘oo’ sound.

We thoroughly enjoyed finishing our circus clowns in art with Mrs Murphy and they have made a wonderful display. Looking at everyone’s open homework was also a highlight for us this week. This morning we led the school assembly and taught the other children many circus facts that we have learnt over the past few weeks. It was great to share some pictures of us demonstrating our own circus skills too!
