In maths, we have continued our learning of addition and subtraction. Today, we have introduced the children to their 2 times tables and have shown them how to use Times Table Rock Stars so that they can practise at home. The children had great fun making and testing their own parachutes during our science lesson on Tuesday. We discussed how surface area affects air resistance, and this in turn impacts on the speed the parachute travels. It has been wonderful hearing about the children who have carried out further tests at home with their parachute! The children’s DT skills didn’t stop there this week, as they also made their own musical instruments with Miss Bee!
