We absolutely loved our African workshops on Monday. We found Kwame so interesting to talk to and we learnt so much from him about African culture, as well how to drum and make patterns using adinkra symbols! This afternoon we learnt about the equator and how this affects climates around the world. We saw that the equator runs through Africa, so parts of it must be very hot!
In science, we are enjoying learning about everyday materials. Next week, we will be thinking about why certain materials are used to make particular items.
