In English, we have read a new key text called, ‘Mama Panya’s Pancakes’ and we can’t wait to follow the recipe next week and make our own Kenyan pancakes (they not are not traditional ones we have here in the UK!). The recipe in the book is very simple so we will be up-levelling these instructions so that they include adverbs and time conjunctions.
During our science lesson this week, we thought about what material items are made from and considered why this may be. We also loved using Google Earth again during our topic lesson today to identify human and physical features in Kenya.
