We found that the instructions in the book were quite vague so we re-wrote them ourselves today and have done an excellent job doing this. Next week, we will be learning about African Folk Tales.

In maths, we have continued learning about money. We have practised counting money, making the same amounts in different ways, comparing money and finding the total of different amounts. Next week, we will be finding the difference and calculating change.

We really enjoyed our Life Skills lesson this week. The focus of our session was to do with playground behaviour and how it feels to be left out, as well as what we can do if we spot someone who is not playing with anyone. Everyone participated extremely well and it was lovely to share examples of times when the children have shown kindness by inviting those who are on their own to play with them.
