The reason this key text was selected was because we learnt all about the first woman to visit space today in our humanities lesson. We are continuing to learn about significant individuals in humanities and can’t wait to find out who the next one is…!
In maths, we have been learning about shape. We have identified 2D shapes, including nonagons and decagons, and some of their properties (number of sides and vertices). Drawing shapes required lots of concentration, but we really enjoyed it! Next week, our learning of shape continues and we will be learning about symmetry and making patterns using shapes.
