In maths, we have moved on to learn about fractions. We have been revising what fractions are and have recognised and found half of a shape, object or quantity. Next week, we will be revising quarters and also learning about thirds.
Throughout the week the children have been building up to write their own opening to ‘Bob (the Man on the Moon)’ story and today they really pulled out all the stops to create the most exciting and engaging story openers. Well done, Year 2!
We are super excited for our trip on Monday to Windsor Castle to find out all about Queen Victoria. The children do not need to bring their book bag to school that day and may wear trainers if they find these more comfortable for walking in. Don’t forget to send your child in with a packed lunch too!
