There was plenty of excitement and friendly competition as our Year 6 pupils took on teachers in the annual end-of-term rounders match.
After a closely contested first half, the scores were level at 14 rounders each, setting up a thrilling finish. Both teams produced some impressive all-round performances, with excellent batting, bowling and fielding on display throughout the match.
In the end, the teachers just edged the victory, finishing two rounders ahead of Year 6. The match was played in fantastic spirit, with lots of laughter, encouragement and memorable moments.
A brilliant way to celebrate the end of the sporting year – well done to everyone who took part!
