In English, the children have completed their own versions Edward Lear’s “The Jumblies” and have started to learn sections of the poem off by heart!  What a challenge, but we have every faith in their abilities!

We also launched an exciting geographical enquiry: exploring the similarities and differences between Hampton, England, and Rusuzumiro, Rwanda. The children will be investigating the geographical features of these contrasting locations by deciding what they have in common and what makes them different. This week, we located both places on a map and sorted images from the two localities. Our Year 2 geographers made a fantastic start to this enquiry!

Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
