PE

The PE sessions at Hampton Prep are designed to run alongside the major sports of that term, and aim to develop the boys’ fine motor skills and co-ordination, improve their overall fitness, and introduce them to strength and conditioning techniques.

During the Autumn term the boys take part in exercises to boost fitness, and gymnastics to develop strength and flexibility. The Spring term sees the focus switch to improving hand-eye co-ordination, and then developing speed and agility through plyometric practices. Finally, the Summer term PE sessions are used for coaching track and field events.
