The Bulletin – Edition 2

It was excellent to see so many parents earlier in the week at the drinks reception at the venue in Hampton, organised by those kindly volunteering to run the HPPPA this year. I was happy to talk to a number of parents about, amongst other things, our assembly programme. I think I may have sent a few shivers down a few parents’ spines as I (not very subtly!) explained that their various professional roles, interests and hobbies would be ideal material for them to base an assembly on at the Prep one morning this year. If ever any parents are able to manage their nerves and steel themselves to come in and share in an assembly something they think the pupils would benefit from hearing, please do get in touch. We are, adults and pupils alike, always delighted to welcome visiting speakers to take part in our assembly programme; pupils are invariably thrilled and proud to see their mum or dad giving a presentation too.
