The boys in Year 6 have had a few challenging weeks to contend with this half term, as many of them either sat entrance or scholarship exams and assessment days as part of the admissions process to senior schools at 11+. Most results are in now, and a good number of families have plenty to think about as they weigh up the options they wish to pursue; this is how the process now operates for the next few weeks at least. Here at school we prefer to down play the arrival of results, including scholarship wins, until we are certain we know where all boys shall be going. I am proud of the way the Year 6 boys remain mindful of each other’s unique circumstances as the 11+ admissions process draws to a close. I shall be very happy to come to parents at the end of this term to paint the full picture of the boys’ exciting outcomes at that point.
